NVW Jewelry

Natasha Wightman is a high fine jewelry artist working in ancient English materials such as jet, boxwood and antler, as well as gemstones and precious metals. Drawing inspiration from the wilderness and the animal world, she creates artworks that vibrate with energy and symbolism.

Her debut collection ‘Ravens’ plays homage to the beauty and solace of the English countryside and one of Britain’s most charismatic birds, perfectly captured in NVW’s intricately crafted art jewels. A visceral connection to the British rural landscape weaves through the meticulously crafted collection of one-of-a-kind fine jewelry pieces, designed, the artist says, “as an ode to the raven”.

Central to Natasha’s practice is the support of authentic craftsmanship. And so, to create her debut collection, Natasha Wightman has gone on a journey of discovery with some of the UK’s most skilled applied artists. Together with carver Graham Heely and goldsmith Ian Fowler, the brand has rediscovered storied techniques to imagine contemporary works. The artist’s practice has moved the boundaries of high fine art jewelry by re-invigorating crafts that go back centuries.

New to Dover Street Market New York, NVW’s debut collection ‘Ravens’ launches Wednesday May 1st as part of Frieze New York 2024.
